Why you should do regular check-ups

Sorry this is way late but it turned out to be one of the reasons that led up to my summer absence.
Every woman knows how horrible it can be to get checked out. You're poked, prodded, and you get your breasts smashed. In my case I couldn't eat the night before or the morning of. I also opted to get my colon checked due to family history so I wouldn't have to come back again. As much as I hate to admit this, I thoroughly enjoyed it not because of the procedure but because I brought home more than just a "Good Job" sticker.
I had already had the nurses do the usual checks and changed into the backless hospital gown sitting there dreading what was going to come. It wasn't until I got in my car did I look at the sticker. It had the "#1 Patient" with a star but on the back of the backing was a little note, "I get off at 2. Would you like to get something to eat?" and then her number.
I called, and my summer started.
